Residents also take advantage of extensive public transportation that offers service by bus or train to New York City and beyond.
The Saddle Brook Public School District offers a strong educational system and serves students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. Residents send their kindergarten through sixth grade students to one of three elementary schools: Franklin, Long School and Helen I. Smith. Students in grades seven through twelve attend Saddle Brook High School. Washington School houses many of the District's special education and early intervention programs.
